If you want to have fun I'd recommend not worrying about the amount of runs it takes and skip to higher levels where you actually get xp and so on. It can get a bit grindy if you're trying to play optimally and complete all the easy missions you get. So you're not redoing the same thing over and over. If you're really into games like this you could beat it in 3 runs, and if you do more you can get upgrades so you can skip early game. A lot of the fun comes from figuring out how to use new abilities and combos and prepare your team for the fights where you lost. Even if you're doing several runs you can resurrect your characters from previous runs so you're never really starting over from scratch. Enemies only attack on their first turn if they can do so without moving, so most of the time you don't need to worry about trying to stay out of their attack range if you're aggressive enough. The worst part is that the UI is hard to read. The music is really cool, each boss has their own soundtrack and so on. ![]() It is a very different game from Battle Brothers.
